Eos 50d Digital Slr Camera
canon digital SLR (EOS 50D)?

Im new digital SLR cameras and I need a litle help. Can you take pictures looking through the actual screen, as point and shoot cameras? Or you have to look through the viewfinder and see only images on the screen after you have already taken the picture? If so can explain to me how to configure it so that I can pull anyone. Thanks in advance

just been given a "semi-professional" camera and you have no idea how to use it. you should have got yourself an entry level for the first time in my opinion. slr point and shoot does not work like the one just look at the screen LCD to point to the subject. you have to look, literally, through the viewfinder. which has a feature where you can use the live view mode (LCD), but does not work as simple as pointing and shooting. this feature is used only for macro shots (to focus precisely the issue and to obtain the desired sharpness as well.) and also whether to use live view, does not work as the point and shoot, because it focuses automatically as point and shoot which is sufficient to half press the shutter button. and take long to roll around with the live view. I have a slr and I do not use live view much of the time I only do when I shoot macros. or … instead of lying on the ground, i just use that feature and have a look at it and get a good picture where is hard to get a good angle. If you thought slr works as a point and shoot cam "because of the LCD, you're wrong. Just have a camera yourself semi-pro. SLR NO which functions as a point and shoot. Anyway, to use live view, press the menu button. – Go to the settings. Table yellow with a wrench in it. – And find the setting that says "view settings for the Live" – and power. Back to the main screen or through Pressing the shutter button to return to where it should be. – To activate the live view, click the print button (found on the top of the screen left). the mirror will flip and then you can use the LCD as a viewfinder. but I will say now, that does not work as a point and shoot.
