Is the EOS 5D Mark II with Canon too good photographs?

I know it has really good video (HD), but the pictures you take make Video reputation? Or should choose other famous Canon models known for their good images? Thank you and please share your ideas!

The 5D2 is an exceptional camera, one of the best sensors there, the high resolution and good pixel density, meaning all low-noise images detailed. The 5D2 has better AF royalties or better frame rate, but all perfectly adequate for most users. If you want faster can be played in the 7D, if you want the same IQ, but a body faster then you need to look at the 1Dsmk3. 5D2's not a cheap camera, but I really get a lot of money. Think of video as an add-on rather than the reverse.
