Eos 5d Mark Ii Videos
I can not make my mind on the 50 60 or Canon EOS 7D?
I am buying a camera next week. I wanted the 5D Mark II, but a bit short cash. I love doing portrait photography, my style is a bit darker fantasy. I love bokeh, and I prefer something with video capabilities good. I also like the fast motion capture elements (ie, moving water), please help also, I have around 1800 to invest
Digital SLR cameras are still the main video cameras offer instead of being designed mainly for recording videos. If you want or need a video camera, a dedicated camera may be the best option for this purpose. Having said all this, if you are really interested in using an SLR camera digital photography, then you should know that your lenses are or should be most of your investment. Canon currently offers five video cameras record and the 50D is not among them. That said, because the 50D has been interrupted, that may be available at a substantial discount. If the failure to record video is a cause breakdown, consider the 550D (Rebel T2i) or 60D, which replaces the 50D. Both are smaller than the 50D, the video offers, and the same image quality as a 7D lower price. Taking into account that only has $ 1800 (U.S.) to invest, it gives more money to spend on your lenses and other accessories that will be fundamental for your portrait and / or videography. The 7D is a great camera and I certainly enjoy mine next to my 5D Mark II. That said, the biggest advantage to my 60D and even 5D MarkII is their AF speed and more advanced. But a new 7D is currently selling for $ 1400 which leaves only $ 400 for your lens / lenses. Note that you could easily spend $ 400 to several thousand dollars in a single lens. You can spend less, but often at the expense of overall image quality and build. As an example, 50 mm f / 1.8 "Nifty-Fifty" is a great "cheap" lens that costs about $ 100 and works great for portraits in the 50D/60D or 7D. However, the 50 mm f / 1.4 offers a more pleasing bokeh, better build quality and full-time manual focus. The problem is, you will spend most of their budget between 7D and this objective one. You do not have money to spare for flashes and / or reflectors that might need to do portraits.
