Canon has recently announced that it has launched three new Wireless File Transmitter (WFT) to give professional photographers the added ability streamline workflow processes by helping to upload and share their work in the world within seconds of taking a picture. These new units Wireless facilitate the transfer photographers to connect to Wi-Fi or a LAN at the touch of a button. The photographers are excited about this new leap in technology which will enable photographers worldwide to accelerate the process of downloading files, transfer files, and more. The first three WTF new models are set to accompany the first three models in Canon's professional digital SLR that offers: The MSF-E2 II A for the 1D Mark IV, IA WFT-E4 for the 5D Mark II and WFT EF-A for the 7D.
All these early models WFT offers photographers a unique opportunity to fire 10 different cameras at the same time with the camera included Link feature. Although most professionals do not have 10 of these high-end digital SLR sitting around, much of them have two, and only two possibilities are incredible. Consider this: A kiss from marriage only lasted a few seconds, and a photographer can not be different angles, distances, or even openings in this small period of time. However, with the camera WFT link feature that can easily set up two cameras in areas totally different and unique images captured as never before possible – at least when taking one.
These units also integrate with Bluetooth GPS devices or wiring GPS to allow photographers or even nature photographers geotag their pictures. Event Photographers will be able to send instant messages vaccinations for storage or printing, or even a live broadcast of their images on a projection screen the event. The possibilities are endless!

Support for 802.11a/b/g wireless networks if you are sure you can connect to a wireless network available. Wi-Fi Protected Setup technology included in these units allows photographers who do not have a solid knowledge network to work with them easily. FTP mode and server mode allows photographers to use a camera connected as it would be a computer hard drive, download files quickly. Supports up to three users to Navigation time. EOS Utility mode gives complete control of the remote shooting with live view, namely, a photographer can adjust the camera, watch and film they are all from a remote computer. As mentioned above, the liaison function of the device allows up 10 compatible cameras that shot the same time, even when you're away. As you can see, these new units WFT change the way of working photographers, and we look forward to seeing how this technology lead us.
