I had my first Amazon (box version only) is not correct. It was a bad SD card slot (wouldnt pop the printable map). I sent it back and had to order another company because they had stopped AZ. One is very good. Remember to check when you arrive. Feeling bad batch because I'm not the only one mentioned. See other owners of the region with the same problem dpreview forums.

Big House – Do not limit the performance SD
I did a lot of pictures but not at this camera allows. I bought this unit photo on Amazon two weeks ago, with different objectives. After reading the manual and the purchase of David Busch Guide for the Canon EOS Rebel T2i David Busch T2i/550D Guide to Digital Photography, Paperback David Busch, I have come to appreciate the sophistication of this device. All that said that, I'll leave more complex evaluations to others who are more qualified than I to comment on camera.
My comment refers the SD card you need for this device. My advice to buyers of this device is faster to buy an SD card, you can get. I asked in Class 10 Sandisk Extreme card 16gig Version 16GB SanDisk Extreme – Class 10 High Performance SDHC Memory Card (SDSDX3-016G-P31, the retail packaging) – NEW 30MB / s and used exclusively. I was very pleased with the speed of continuous shooting. I drew a bath, and got a great blow selection. The next day, without realizing the Class 10 card at home, and replaced a Class 6 Transcend card 16gig. The difference in performance the device has been a revelation for me. With the Class 6 card, the device took longer to pass through its opening sequence, speed continuous shooting has been much slower, and after about 10 shots speed slowed to a crawl.
The fund is to spend money buy an additional SD card class 10. Your camera is happy and you.
Incredible Photos
The rebel has many functionality, but it is still easy to use. You can take it and use it immediately. You get incredible pictures with wonderful colors and beautiful.
First impression: amazing device, great design and controls
The T2i 550D/Rebel is filled in Full functionality than any truly meaningful review that require lots of hands on use. They have not had time yet. But the first Impressions from some test shots and a careful study of the features, functions, controls and documentation are very positive. This is upgrade from a Canon Rebel XT, both the features and functions is new, but to dive into each show is very well thought out not too difficult to learn / use, and exceptionally well documented. The degrees of gradation between fully automatic and manual are almost entirely unlimited. Innovative features like the style of "image" and "Auto Lighting Optimizer" will delight some and be wary of others. I tend to be cautious, but in ordinary situations that work well and are easy to disable. The rapid control of the 550D "panel is wide and offers a number much faster and more intuitive to access and modify most parameters that are most likely to need change. Point sense of control also allows fast easy to disable the "Picture Style" and "Auto Lighting Optimizer, if necessary. The Unit feels "better built than the Rebel XT and the controls are placed in a better way. The LCD screen is excellent, sharp, and the ratio is 1:1.5 improvement. What it's worth, I have an EF-S 15-85 IS USM to use – it's a match made in heaven.
Best DSLR for the money spent …
I'll make it short and sweet. Best digital SLR for the money spent. I was looking for a digital SLR and it will beat most if not all of your price range. Although I must note, you need a quick flash card memory, something around 15 MB / s (150X to 200X) to be sure to take pictures to play videos faster and smoother. Recommend this product, it kills all the regular digital cameras, by far, with excellent video and 1080p picture quality.
