Color cast with ND110 filter?
I start using the ND110 and have noticed a warm color cast to my images, I capture in RAW and my camera has the ability to dial into a manual color temperature or a change white Ballance (EOS 7D) so I'm wondering if others have had this problem ND110, and how I change it? Is there a fixed amount of degrees Kelvin should I adjust images? Fhotoace thank you very much, the dominant color of the very expensive) B + W ND110 is (a known problem. I was really looking for someone who was familiar with the filter response, which clearly is not you. NB What effect do you think a 10 stop ND filter will time of exposure? Extend by a multiplication of 1024? Exactly. So using a gray card is not really an option. Answers welcome from any person who actually use the filter. Hi Arun, you want to know what will happen is that real change is required for this filter? The B + W ND110? Thanks Edwin for Unfortunately I'm using a mac so this software will not run.
Paul That made me look back on my action photos! I can use the B & W ND110 a combo Nikon D300 + 18-200mm. I had a good shot throguh sail material and can not see any color cast, heat or otherwise. This is totally unscientific but Could take a series of test shots and World Bank adjustment manually until the picture looks more "correct." Assuming that the change is consistent then you know by how much to adjust to the filter.
