Eos 7d Cf Card
Infected card reader?

I have a Canon EOS 7D, so it uses a 8GB CF card. When I plugged it in my card reader (in a MacBook) together with a SD card of a friend of mine, I noticed that the SD card had a virus. When I opened my card, all of my pictures were gone. When I scanned my CF card on a Windows laptop, it says that the CF card had no virus. So I used my camera again with the same CF card. When I plugged it in my Windows laptop, I scanned it again, with no virus. When I opened it, I can’t see my pictures anywhere (even with see hidden files enabled), but the CF card’s properties shows that my CF card has half free space. I am suspecting my card reader is infected. Help?
I also need the files in the “deleted” CF card. When I view my CF card in my laptop it shows the [formerly] folders as Files.

Your card reader cannot get virus infected.
It does not have memory to become infected.
If you don’t really need the photos stored on the card, format it.
It should get your memory card working properly again.
If you need your photos you might need to use some data recovery software before you format the card.

The Canon G1 camera is in competition with many other equivalent or higher price, and the beating of several ways. However, when is the speed, the Canon G1 is very slow. Is this true? Several experiments reveal the truth …

For starters, the Canon G1 just take longer to start when you are working on a Microdrive that when you work with a Compact Flash (CF). The launch time is a good two seconds again with a Microdrive in the memory slot of the camera. A Once the Microdrive has been recognized, the lens begins extending about 4 seconds after the fire was lit. Then, during the second or seventh top of the screen turns on and, amazingly, the camera is ready after about 9 seconds.

The wait is inconvenient for the device implementation may be limited to the first power just leave the rear LCD closed after the camera is turned on. However, it is not only drains the battery faster, but projection lens also leaves vulnerable to damage.

high-resolution photographs tend to have up to eight seconds on the written Microdrive. This delay is because, if the file is copied to obtain the photo-sensors on the memory card that photographers do lose a lot of precious time that can be very annoying when shooting fast moving objects or a series of successive events. In comparison, the time required for images to be written in flash drive is much weaker, and takes no more than 4 or 5 seconds.

However, the G1 Canon scores lose many other devices. With a fast shutter lag of output under super-tenth of a second, and auto-focus time just 0.6 seconds on average, the G1 for its slow implementation.

In today’s fast-paced world, spur-of-the-moment photography speaks volumes… A single photograph is capable of narrating entire stories. Find out how to make your Canon G1 deliver instantaneous high-quality photographs!

Retrieve data from a CF card Canon EOS 7D?

I accidentally formatted the CF card in my camera (Canon EOS 7D) Interface … Please help me to retrieve it using free software. I tried some programs like Recuva, but it does not detect my camera connected!

I do not know of any recovery program that works when connected through the camera. You need a card reader, which is presented as a drive letter in Windows. Of course the player can handle CF cards. I use PC Inspector Smart Recovery (free) and works like a charm. A card reader will cost $ 20 if all those who buy an expensive. You can probably find one for under $ 10.
