Canon EOS 7d wont record?

I’m not sure why but my Canon EOS Wont record video for over 10 seconds? I’m using a Digital Media Compact Flash 21.0 GB Memory card.

A 2GB card will only hold about 5-6mins of footage, so not an ideal card to use.

2GB cards are also quite rare now, suggesting it’s an older card, perhaps with a slower writing speed, which would explain why your cameras buffer isn’t clearing and the recording stopping.

Look for a card with at least 30Mb/s write speed. And get something bigger. A Sandisk Ultra 4Gb or 8GB should do the trick and won’t break the bank.

Using an old slow card in a 7D is like putting crossplys on a brand new bmw.
