What is the difference between the Canon Rebel and EOS digital SLR series XT?
I use the PowerShot S3 IS Canaon now. It does the job, but now I need a little more after having learned to draw by hand. To go further than I wanted to know was a better camera between the two.
The new Canon XTi has essentially the same as the automatic configuration and 30D a much lower price! There are some options manual configuration that permitted in the 30D, but what's next, I think it will be happier with the XTi. Remember that the more line you get with Canon SLR, some have no flash (you need to buy a flash) and the weight is more. I do not like the feel of the 30D and more – is so heavy my hand gets tired after only a few shots. The Rebel XT and Rebel XTi are made for small hands and are much easier to use if you are an amateur photographer. Either get 17-85 L series lens (sometimes offered as a kit lens delivered a higher price), or the 28-135IS lens. Personally, I have the 28-135 and love it. It's a great day and the goal of traveling, as the weight is reasonable and a good telephoto zoom on it. He also image stabilization, which I recommend to all objectives that receives, greatly reducing the "noise" in photos. Personally, I, just choose a Canon lens on third could be a bit cheaper.
