What is the best lens for the EOS Digital Rebel XT Canon?
I bought the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT 8 MP about one week before Christmas and I'm so in love with her. I love the image detail, but I have wondered if it could become better in any way. People have been telling me that lenses are made of better quality? I like the image is sharp, crisp, better? And I really want to do some macros! Do you have any advice on lens or other accessories to help my photos? Thanks!
A true macro may cost a little. As for clear highs and everything, it really depends on you and to some extent the configuration of the camera. That kit lens can actually be quite strong extended to about half (not all the way and not all the way out) and opening somewhere in the f / 8 to f/16 range. Set your camera to Av, turn the wheel behind the shutter button you set your aperture to 11 (only one number in the center), press the shutter button halfway and see what speed it offers. If its less than 1/50th will have to increase your ISO only increased one step at a time as the highest ISO give much noise. Find a middle ground and shoot. So far, it's a good camera. It is not real time to test or study guide for all product features. I am not a professional photographer, but hopefully good pictures, but I want it. So now is a great camera. I have not had time to make it a real test or study manual functions of this product. I am not a professional photographer, but hopefully good pictures when I want one. It is a great improvement from my Fuji camera that took thousands of pictures for me. So far, they have superb pictures with this camera, planning to have a lot more.

Love this kit!
I had long studied the XSi, and I wanted to zoom the camera. This kit is exactly what I wanted. No additional cost was low not necessary, but I have two decent lens for my XSi? I really like the XSi, but was a couple of new versions since this device was available (T1i, Nikon D5000, etc.) I am a big fan of Canon and I really like this camera. I can get excellent results and is fun to learn from their "not so great results!" (These do not occur because I am not so familiar with the camera, as I'm mostly a hobbyist who wants to learn more and take great photos.) If you are looking to buy their first digital SLR, the kit is a kit first camera!
