Anything to do with Canon Digital Cameras and Lenses

If you own the Canon EOS 450D SLR please give me your opinion on it?

How is the picture quality? lighting? speed?

"It's better than an average sensor camera with APC-C. The higher the ISO images are a bit too grainy, but in the end it takes great pictures. PQ lenses affect the camera more, so a higher quality lens and your pictures will come out better than a 5D with a goal starving. "I disagree with some the comments in the previous post and agree with some. Produced high quality images, but then so will the age of 6 megapixel Nikon D40 in the right hands. It is a good starter digital SLR camera, so they are placed in the Canon range of fans. The comment about "getting a high quality lens and your pictures will better than a 5D with a cheap goal "is ridiculous, of course, the poster is a complete amateur. The 5D is a completely different type of camera, full frame and as such is capable of very high quality images, especially in poor light. If the field of play two against each other in low light situations the 5D shows less noise at high ISO settings. It also ignores the camera does not 'automatically' create a great photo is to the user to operate properly the camera, a cheap lens on a 5D used by a person with knowledge compared with a high quality lens used by a novice 450D still produce best pictures because the photographer uses light to its full potential. You should certainly consider buying some quality glass for your body, but you should also learn about the ISO / aperture / shutter speed / white balance etc to get the full potential of it. Anyway, in response to your questions … Quality Great image! (On the right hand!, As I explained earlier) Lighting Not sure what you mean with this, If you are asking about the flash pop-up camera, then do not bother if you're good to blink after investing in a Canon 430EX II or 580EX. Speed is not the fastest of bodies camera, if it is speed that after then look at the range semi-pro (40D/50D) these bodies are far better comparison, but are, of course with a higher price. I have recommended before, if the speed you're after and you're looking at a 450D, I would urge you to look in second hand 40D. All images on my website were taken with a 40D http://www.ianfisher.info After moving from novice 'Rebel' to the series xxd series I could never return. If you want to take your photography seriously and maybe they want to participate in wildlife or sports photography then consider a xxd. If no, the 450D is a great body and should suit your needs very well, I recommend it.
