For amateur photographers, there are many options and make decisions on image quality. First, consider your budget. Then you must decide what type of device suits your needs. vacation photos and shots of the family album need only a point and shoot camera that fits in your pocket. Two hundred dollars to buy a decent camera, which has great pictures, if you do not ask too much. As photographs or images of the wall-size digital art.

If you love taking pictures and enjoy the beautiful views out over the wall, then a reflex or prosumer digital viewfinder necessary. Professional photographers prefer the high-end digital SLR cameras that cost thousands of dollars, but will pay many times their work. The two thousand dollar versions are quite bulky and heavy for the amateur photographer to upload all day. An alternative is the four NET Micro thirds (Electronic Viewer) type. Weighing a half-SLR digital cameras are almost as good picture quality than their larger cousins.

An observation by owners of digital SLR sports is often a first opening goal more quickly, which makes them capable of capturing images in the context of the light more easily. Since the doubling of the ISO setting the camera doubles the size of the lens opening, very little is lost in the way quality. A good prosumer EVF camera artifacts show little or no loss of detail at ISO 200 or 400.

A good example is the new range of telephoto (28 – 280mm) zoom Panasonic Lumix GH1 by. It is more open than half the size of the f4.0 aperture F2.8 cousin. But with increasing maternal ISO 100-200 which can effectively capture the image even in low light as the main objective in the same shutter speed. As for smoothing and blurring of funds using the telephoto settings, it is true that the first great opening goal was very good. But the effect of Gaussian filter available in many image editors simulate this effect quite well.

If the appearance of artifacts minutes, you worry, there are many removal device software on the market. At the largest chain of ISO (1600 – 3200) you can expect some loss of detail well. But the top of the camera line include NET sophisticated software that does an excellent job keeping most details of the lens in these settings High ISO.

Other features that affect the quality of the image is distorted, the accuracy of color reproduction, and the ability of culture. All the zooms show some barrel distortion at the wider end and to a lesser extent, a damping effect the final scope. The cushioning effect should not be too concerned, because the usual subject material rarely covered by straight lines that could make distortion evident in the eyes. In addition, even a small amount of barrel distortion is easily visible in photographs of architecture. There are cameras Digital is good for some, if not all of this by default. Otherwise, there is software that can correct barrel distortion without affecting the quality of the image. We RadCor, software that corrects distortions specific brands of lenses and cameras.

While most of it is true that RAW images can be extremely sharp images obtained, we depend on the convenience of JPEG files. For this reason, it is good that you pay attention to the type of engine used to convert images from camera JPEG Image (good or regular). The latest in the drive motor is the Venus Engine with dual processor used by your Panasonic Lumix GH1.This is affected by the number of pixels that have to work, instead of better. Of course, there is no such thing as "pixels" larger, you end a series of large image files require a large memory capacity of the fin on your computer. The bottom line when choosing a digital camera is to examine the pictures of tests and comparisons with other devices use to help you decide. Nothing can replace quality.

What yall think of the Canon PowerShot SD750? If you like you?

I really want to have a digital camera quick and good! suggestions.

It's a good little camera, but "small" is the word. I prefer SD1000 very similar. Recently I treated the SD750 (IXUS 75) and SD1000 (IXUS 70) and have a definite opinion now in favor of the SD1000. The SD1000 is the smallest digital camera, I think I never seen, but it is easier to handle than the SD750. These cameras replaced the SD600 (SD1000) and SD630 (SD750). They are DARN similar to previous models and another. The new cameras accept SDHC, however, and have face detection. They also use the new image processor DIGIC III, Canon is the state of the art generation version. (The other is the DIGIC II.) The SD1000 has an optical viewfinder and could be tiebreaker for me. (See below) The multi-function button and control buttons on the SD750 are other small, hard to press and hard to read compared to controls SD1000. I guess that's the price you pay to have an inch more than half of the LCD taking up space in the rear the camera. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?method=sidebyside&cameras=canon_sd750% 2Ccanon_sd1000 & show = all-optical viewers who aspire to the optical viewfinder and I would like to choose any device with an optical viewfinder over one that has a single screen. Why? 1. You never an option to turn off the LCD and these things eat batteries for lunch and spit. Why stop with the option of a viewfinder that has zero leakage current? 2. It may be difficult to see the image on an LCD with sunlight, even if they are "new and improved". This is a situation where you really want the opportunity to use an optical viewfinder. 3. You must keep an LCD screen at a distance in front of his face. This is more I prefer to be visible all the time. 4. The need to hold a camera, arms outstretched introduce some shake. I the idea of stabilizing the camera against my face when I take a picture. This is particularly important with a higher zoom lens. No wonder that the stabilization image "or" vibration reduction "is necessary for these cameras. Not that there's nothing wrong with IS or VR, but in reality is a requirement with LCD viewfinders and telephoto lenses. 5. Using the LCD screen for photos after they have made the camera slows considerably. You can not close the LCD screen and even take pictures if you do not have an optical viewfinder.
