Can I use my Canon Powershot A610 as webcam? If so, the links of the drivers?

I was wondering if I can use my digital camera (Which has video capabilities), a Canon Powershot A610 as webcam? What I can connect my computer to transfer video and images, but can not record while If plugged comes with software, and do not. So, does anyone have some links for drivers so my digital camera function as a webcam? :] Thanks.

What happened to the video on my Canon PowerShot?

A Canon PowerShot A590 digital camera I have. So I iPhoto version 6.0.6. I threw my card to my computer using iPhoto and it said to format my card when it was imported. Unfortunately, my videos do not appear in iPhoto. As the card is formatted, are no longer in it. Where are they?
