Canon Rebel XSi camera for serious amateurs who knows how to shoot
I have the Canon Rebel XSi Now almost two years and a half y. This was by far one of the best camera I had. This review is for those who are serious about the collection and use of the camera is on an almost daily basis.
I started photography, art class the University requires the University of Mobile. Since I can not draw, paint, sculpt or the logical choice for me was the photography. While taking photography class 101, I used my roommate Canon camera with film that has more than thirty years. Oh, and I have an "A +" in class. Yeah, well who cares, I know I say.
While shopping for my next serious camera I decided to go with Canon for several reasons. There are more professional photographer using the Canon camera than any other brand combined. I was trained and taught the first time in a unit Canon. Canon lenses offer more choices than any other brand. You can use Canon lenses that you want. The best part is that the sensor buried deep Within the camera is not a full-frame sensor. Unless you are a photographer shooting a billboard advertising signs which is probably never need a full frame sensor. It gets even better. Because Canon Rebel XSi is not a full-frame sensor that receives a 0.6 inch zoom This means that you are getting at least one price no zoom and a half times only for the purchase of a sensor 1.6 Size!
I originally bought the target = "_self" title = "Rebel XSi"> Canon Rebel XSi prices and offers. I will not go into all the functions, that what was and remains important to me. I loved the big 3 inch screen on the back of the unit. The screen in terms of color quality is really good. I first bought the camera to see my setup in the manual on the screen. But recently I was shooting so concerts and events that occur at night, it is easier to simply look through the viewfinder.
I have small fingers and I how all the buttons are on the right side of the body in the back of the unit. Note to the back of the room where most if not all the buttons and features. All buttons are easy to find in the dark and become second nature to invest time to find the appropriate button and learn to adjust settings on the fly. Ideally, as a photographer must be able to adjust all parameters in the works (dark school plays, concerts, fireworks)
Most professional camera range of CF cards must contain all the camera shots. I like how the Canon Rebel XSi uses SD cards. I found unless you're shooting high speed photography (air shows, sports, etc.) Class 2 (Known as Class II) SD cards always work. However, if you shoot weddings, parties, basketball, football, hockey, entertainment outdoor concerts, etc., need the most likely to spring a little extra money for the class III SD card. Is it money? In short, if you pull all the time, yes by all means. SD cards, I took my bath in the ocean by accident and even forgot to remove the SD card said my shorts before to dry one load of laundry! SD cards can take a beating and still works perfectly.
I really like the menu button on the back of the unit. With this button to select the quality of the file, AEB, flash exposure, shooting style, format cards, custom settings, etc.
AEB auto exposure bracketing means. If you're in love with HDR photography, you can click on the AEB, the camera wants to what extent To adjust the exposure (s) and press the shutter once for three different shots taken without having to make something work. In other words, you press the shutter button and 3 are different plans for you.
If you are still reading my opinion the quality of the file, is that if you need it. serious photographers shoot RAW and use Lightroom or Photoshop to convert images to JPEG format to save more a PC and printing in a lab. The advantage of RAW is that RAW gives you more control over the image you took. In other words, say you took a picture and the flash is off. You can use RAW to get more information on this image to highlight the lighting natural color, all in the same plane!
The good thing about this feature when you need to download tons of photos on the PC of someone who does not need to convert the files!
White balance is the ability to establish the true color in any environment. Very few churches have the same appearance inside. Just as there are places that have the color of crazy. A example of them for children, rooms that are fully paneled, where rooms are very dark, bright orange, pink, purple and Red course. With the white balance, you can use a sheet of paper written in the CAP, Lally, card or white balance. All I have to do is to press the "WB" to take my picture white balance and you're done.
P corresponds to programs. So you do not want to turn by car, because the order is right for idiots? P professional use.
TV Stands for the value of time. When firing a flash inside at a birthday party for the wedding, use, etc., in a TV 1 / 125 sec. If you're shooting very Low light would use 1/13th of a second.
Aperture priority is for the experts. No need to explain.
M for manual for photography studio together. It is also for those who are hard-core shooters.
Canon Rebel XSi It can be fired remotely with a remote control group photos (with yourself inside). Remote is $ 30 and is not a bad investment. You can use a small 6.5-foot cable to prevent movement of the shutter if the camera is mounted on a tripod. Canon Rebel XSi configuration has also a number of a timer with a flashing light on the front to indicate the time remaining before the flash fires. The tripod This camera is excellent, I have not had any problem with it.
ISO button can be a bit difficult, but I found that you never have to see where he is. It's almost always be strong enough for you to see. The ISO button has saved your ass many times not even funny. ISO button is always very important when choosing a camera.
OK, have you ever noticed how Some pop-up flash (es) there are really weak? Well with the Canon Rebel XSi can dial up or down, how much power (light) the flash off. If you're shooting a wedding or other high-profile event, the external flash can be controlled by your objective and camera. This feature is called E-TTL II. It means the electronic meter lens! His account of the sensor flashes when you turn bright flash duration, etc. In fact, you can simply use the flash and forget is there, but it works automatically. I found the flash systems Canon, however, I want to put my flash exposure in an F greater than zero stop.
Now for the review of the 18-55mm AF objective. People tell me that this goal is a piece of trash have no idea what is garbage. I'm not sure what fascination with zoom. I mean, it's completely ridiculous. If I throw a ballet or a wedding that I can wait a minimum of 4 or 5 people to wonder how it works 70-200mm lens. If I'm shooting an air show, and I'm using a 100-400mm lens that I can wait at least 10 people to wonder how he does the lens. It's a bit annoying that people distract you while you're shooting.
Regarding the lens 18-55mm lens is used for architecture, night scenes, fireworks artificial family portrait, landscape, vacation, etc. This is not because there is very little zoom does not mean that this objective is crap. It is ideal for those who are destined. If you want to have a greater awareness of any purchase of a goal that has more built in zoom 17-85 AF IS is a good example and is relatively cheaper than say a 24-105mm lens.
In short, the purchase of this camera make you a better photographer? No camera there can do for you! Is this camera ideal for entry level use? My God, yes! I not mention the Live View function properly, it sucks. Live View is a useless feature that does not fit anything in almost all the cameras there. While Friends are setting up their plans with their stylish camera bag pocket is long, I did with the vaccine.
The only thing I do not like this housing is plastic and has no video mode. But the new Canon camera equipped with this feature.
