Review Canon S5is

I upgraded from S5IS SX10IS model before, and I must say it was worth it. I should mention that I am in no way an advanced user, a professional photographer. I do not live on this camera, but I am very fond of photography as a hobby. I need pictures of good quality without too much hassle, and I'm pretty picky about that!

This model comes with a lot of nice features, but there is still room for improvement. I will begin to show the benefits, the reasons why they fell in love with this device.

– Facial recognition appropriate. The function is activated from the default, no need to adjust anything. Point to your friends, click the shutter button and the camera recognize faces and adjust the lighting.
– Smart Removal of red eye without the use of a reduction lamp additional or pre-flash
– Gate of the memory card is now separated from the battery cover. Sometimes I just want to remove the card from my camera photo and replace it with a virgin. With previous models, I had to switch off, remove the batteries, remove the card. He lost valuable seconds.
– This model beats its competitors in image quality in high ISO settings. With the continuous improvement of a model from the early versions, it was eagerly awaited.

Now for the drawbacks.

– I like to see a larger rotation screen. Certainly, it is very useful because it is now, but with a half-inch wide would be much better.
– Compression of films leads to a loss of quality. I would have an option to let me choose the compression level and I would warn against potential losses. Now, he says nothing. I have not used still a lot more movies, perhaps reducing the quality was just a wild opinion. However, it is really worth a try before you buy camera.
– The square shape is a bit and the grip is a little rough. However, it is a matter of personal taste, you can love.

However, the SX10IS is an excellent model, adapted to all users with low-mid end of the camera. The feature set which includes easy to understand even by non-techie photographers.

Getting the perfect camera, is never an easy thing, especially with the way digital technology is constantly changing. Fortunately, there are plenty of helpful websites online, that can narrow down your search and help you find the camera with all the features important to you.

I will vote against the fijifilm. It may be cheaper, but do not. My friend bought one 6 months back and now a mess. He was sent to Japan once and for repair. 3 months after repair, the same problem.
