Sigma 17 70 Review
Sony 16-105 vs. Tamron 24-70 vs sigma 17-50?

Ive currently has a Sony Alpha A700 and want to upgrade the kit lens that came with it. I normally shooting family and friends at the party inside and out. I have read a number of review and was approaching the sigma 24-70 ex, but it is a full frame lens. Any opinions of these three lenses will be appreciated sony 24-70 f2.8 Sigma 16-105 f3.5 Tamron 17-50 f.2.8 Thanks

I think it would be a good Tamron AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II LD SP ZL Aspherical (IF) Zoom Lens for Konica Minolta-The Tamron is heavier and stronger than Sony.-lens has better sharpness across the structure, but especially in the corners, it is slightly soft at f2.8 lens (although still better than the kit), as defined below pare. "If you use it for indoor shots or night is large compared with the objective of Kit-The opening is 2.8 along the zoom range, which means you do not miss the light when you approach 50 mm.-Macro works decently well, especially with the depth of field you get with a large opening. Sigma 17-70mm 2.8 to 4.5?

I recently bought a Canon T1i (500D) body only (which has not happened yet) and I am looking for a general zoom to go with it. For a little over $ 350 the Sigma 17-70 2.8 to 4.5 seems a good target. I like the speed and the focal length. But all the comments I saw was from 2006 or around then and I wonder if there is a good value? or if a better target for my needs? Incidentally, I have other interests I like pictures of specific landscapes to a wide angle wide Decent is a necessity. Please do not recommend anything over $ 400. Thank you

In fact, 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS normally equipped This unit is extremely capable, their predecessors were terrible, but this goal is recast perspective has considerably improved. Between this objective and the 17-55mm F4L IS and f2.8 17-40mm standard zoom is not worth the trouble. You're better off spending a small sum of money (probably 100 $) On the 18-55mm IS and then either save or invest the rest in other teams.
