Looking to replace the kit 18-55 lens for Nikon D40. How do I choose between Tamron vs. Sigma 17-70/2.8 28-75/2.8?
What the Tamron is 2.8 "overall, while the Sigma is not? Is it important?
I do not know why you want to replace a good purpose, both in quality and zoom range with two lenses to start lower. Would you have been listening to those who have heard that the objective Canon 18-55 mm does not expect the quality and assumed the same thing with the Nikon 18-55 mm. Nothing could be further from the truth http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/1855.htm I think you want to buy at least one lens which extends the zoom range, it is now. As 55-200 mm VR Nikkor. Http: / / Www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/55-200mm-vr.htm Your question suggests that you do not have enough experience using the camera and the objective you. The tiny difference 2/3rds f / stop is certainly not worth the cost of buying a third lens. Like … "Tamron 2.8" for the range "There is a new type zoom is available in recent years. In the past, as an opening depends on the wider opening of a lens, zoom f / stop range throughout the zoom range, something like a 24-85 mm f/2.8 ~ 4 is typical. Now, the new zoom, zoom engineers make faster, but mask the short end of the zoom range to be. I can a little different I'd rather have 24-70 mm f/2.8 my (many) is a 24-70 mm f/2.0 bringing da ~ 2.8, me a fast 24mm lens Nice
