Different Types of Sigma 17-70mm f2.8?

Recently I was thinking about buying a brand new camera lens with f2.8 aperture .. to search website i sigma officer to check all of your lenses. However, I learned that actually have more than one type of lens. This confuses me and I worry that I might choose the wrong target. And I read some of the review and given this good reviews, and I'm fine with that. but wonder what is the macro to do? uses for the macro function? or blur easily create object? PS: I'm the rookie photo … so there are plenty of things I do not know. http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3362&navigator=2 http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp? id = 3261 & browser = 2 http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3264&navigator=2 http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_all_details.asp?id=3265&navigator=2

well first, the Directorate General on the lens sigma means that it is designed for a great perfomance in a digital camera sensor to cut, but also work on a full frame 35mm camera or full frame digital camera. Sigma's DC series means it is designed for use with a digital camera sensor clipped. It would not be able to use it in a film camera old. You could use a digital Nikon full frame, but NOT a full frame Canon digital. Macro is about a job. However, none of the lenses here are the specialty of the lenses closely. The 1400 dollar lenses have a fixed aperture throughout the zoom range from whole pieces. The cheaper lens, such as see has a maximum aperture varies to change the long zoom.

I can not decide between the Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 and Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4.0?

The Sigma is more ergonomic and focuses more quiet, but has not received as comments and I liked him a lot of tests. I'm also not sure if image stabilization is the same as the compensation vibration. All Everyone loves the Tamron, but what do you think? 30 mm difference in the catch is something to watch. How are both visually and Video?

OS is the same as the CV that I just need a different name. Because these focal lengths are more or less also two things that are seriously considering the fact that the Tamron has constant f/2.8 throughout its range and has better build quality. Another thing to consider is how the approach works in these lenses. A fight over the other in low light and is noticeably slower? If the lenses are equal in aspects that go with the Tamron because of the constant f/2.8 opening, which is indispensable as a photojournalist.
