Sigma 28 70mm
Can anyone give me specifications and an opinion on the Sigma lens?

I know I've done a lot of questions about such things but I'm getting closer. I was wondering what anyone thought about the Sigma 28-70mm f/2.8-4 DG AF Lens for Canon EOS / EF and what is good for.

Tamron 17-50mm or 28-70mm?

What purpose do I do if I want to shoot a portrait portraits wholesale and wide angle. Tamron 50mm f2.8 Tamron 17- Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 has the same number of 18-50mm f2.8, I've heard mixed reviews, which one is better. Thank you.
