the camera lens should I buy for my Nikon D40? PLEASE HELP?

I am a beginner and my kit lens recently broke. I love taking pictures almost everything. Portraits, band shots, action shots, etc. I asked these three would be best to get. I also like zooming in on a lot of things. The Sigma 19-200 mm F/3.5-6.3 Lens The Nikon 35mm http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/538309-USA/Sigma_77D_306_18_200mm_f_3_5_6_3_II_DC.html f/1.8g http://www. amazon.com/Nikon-35mm-AF-S-Digital-Cameras/dp/B001S2PPT0/ref = sr_1_1? ie = UTF8 & s = electronics & qid = 1272236203 & sr = 1-1 or 55-200mm VR http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-55-200mm-VR-Vibration-Reduction/dp/B000O161X0/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1272236814&sr=8-1-fkmr0

The next logical target would be the 55-200 mm to give the added reach to shoot action sports and some wildlife. The Sigma covers focal lengths it makes its 18-55 mm, it is not necessary to duplicate focal lengths. The Nikkor 35 mm lens is a kind of strange. The report covers the same field of view like the old 50 mm made in 35mm. Common, but rarely used when the photographer had a wide angle and telephoto habit to use your D40 but the goal is to be able to use it without even having to think too much about the composition: http://photoinf.com/General/KODAK/guidelines_for_better_photographic_composition.html

Does anyone have this goal?

I want to replace my kit 18-55 and 55-200. They work well, but this division is the most annoying! I thought to achieve this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/485229-REG/Sigma_888_306_18_200mm_f_3_5_6_3_DC_OS.html had good reviews in the magazine photo pop too. I want to be good enough for portraits. Or what other purpose would be good for that? Around the same range and not more than $ 600. I have a Nikon D5000 Thanks!

I the Nikon 18-200 lens and, if it is a very versatile lens, I think you should choose 50mmG f/1.4 for portraits. You'll much more control over its basic approach.
