lenses for the Canon 5D mark 11?

Does anybody know if the Sigma DG 28-70 mm 1:2.8 EX lens fits on the 5D??
I’m thinking of buying the body, but I’m not sure about the lenses.

That is a great camera, wish I have the ching to buy one.

My recommendation would be on a bad boy like that to avoid 3rd party lenses and stay with the Canon lenses.

How about the 50mm 1.4?
My favorite lens: 28-135mm IS
Any of the L quality lenses would be perfect.

Stop right there buddy. A Sigma lens on a full frame body like the 5D mark II is going to look awful, if it even happens to fit. Sigma makes mid to low quality lenses, and a full frame sensor is going to bring out every defect it has in the lens elements. Go look for an older 5D and save your money for a Canon L lens. Using third party lenses on a full frame is pretty much a crime. The Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 lens is the one you want.
