Sigma Lenses For Canon Rebel Xti
Which of these three goals is the best one for my Rebel XTi? thanks!?

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG MACRO Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2 Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.5 III USM

All will of course work with the camera and two lenses that include a third mode Marco. It all comes down to this. If you are a heavy shooter (over 80,000 images or more per year) and the maintenance plan of the lens for many years, has to look at the Canon lens a little more difficult. Third party lenses are designed and manufactured for amateur photographers using their cameras about 1/20th of what a professional do it, so you do not have to build as robust. While they may perform optically as good or better than OEM lenses usually are less mechanically designed to drive by the photographer

Sigma vs Canon lens, what would you do?

It is a sort of extension of my previous question. Currently I a macro lens Sigma (28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 DG Macro) for my Canon XTi 400D/Rebel. When the unit was purchased for me, my sister spoke the purchase of this macro, and I do not use too much. I therefore intend to sell and get the Canon 50mm f1.8 lens time I heard / Read great things. According to Sigma RRP (approximately USD $ 450 I think) might even be able to buy a second Canon lens? My question is, do you sell an objective pretty decent macro lens for both cheaper?

First, the cost objective Re Sigma http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/389308-REG/Sigma_795101_28_300mm_f_3_5_6_3_DG_IF.html $ 280 at retail "is not going to get over $ 200 for second hand … if that. Sigma lenses do not hold their value, and Canon lenses on the market opportunity. Second, the Sigma is a goal for all, all-in-one zoom can also be used for macro photography. Thirdly, the Canon 50mm f/1.8 is an ideal lens for low light photography and depth of field insanely shallow (origins blurred), but it is certainly not a stroll through the lens. Actually, it's garbage for everyday use. 4. As others have said, the Canon 50mm f/1.4 is better than version of f / 1.4, but only if you have a clear goal of wanting a first. 5. If you get a 50 mm, they get used. There are hundreds of people each month to buy one, find their limits, and sell again on eBay, Craigslist, keh.com, and stores the camera. 6. And finally, if you do not that many Sigma Shoot what?! I mean, if I do not because it has a different zoom lenses you choose, well, yes, in this case sold. But apart from a distance. It is the biggest target in the world, but does the job.
