Sigma Lenses For Canon Wide Angle
I'm a novice photographer. What wide angle lens should I take to Hawaii?

I bought a Canon Rebel XSi in December and have learned the concepts basic respect. My husband and I are going to December in a couple of weeks and would like to rent a good wide angle lens to take beautiful pictures of scenery as 're there. Do you have recommendations of which I should have? I've been looking at the Sigma 10-20mm F/4-5.6 IS and Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5. As I said, we have no lot of experience with wide-angle lenses. We own the Canon17-55mm (the one came with the camera) and also have a Canon 50 1.8. Do you have recommendations or advice for us that we must take the lens? I'd take pretty pictures of my husband and I and all the beautiful beaches and sunsets.

If you glass rod to rent Canon and hide the marks out. You will be happy with the quality difference. Www.kenrockwell.com Ken does a good job with wide angle lenses in the deserts and mountains of the southwestern United States. almost always includes basic data such as camera, lens, focal length, so watch your photos and will definitely help you decide. ken quite with Lecia and Nikon, but has some very good reviews of the Canon cameras and lenses too. the lens that came with your camera is good but not large. his well-known for having some problems with the clarity that some would consider a soft approach. You may also consider getting a lens in the same range focal with the best crystal. It would also be useful to a 70-300 range for the general plans of Internet users, vagrants, etc. remember that your camera uses an EF-S mount. If uses an EF will have to multiply the focal length of 1.6. Example … the 50mm 1.8 is an EF lens for your camera is really an equivalent of 80 mm. Do not forget to bring a lightweight folding monopod!

What wide-angle lens is best for me?

I'm taking a trip to Hong Kong in a few months and for this opportunity, I would buy one wide angle lens. I have a Canon XSi for the moment, but I'm looking EF lenses more because I want to buy a 5D in a year or two. I studied Two: The Canon 17-40mm and Sigma 12-20mm. I'll take two portrait and landscape photography with them. What should I go? Or should I go for the Canon 10-22 evne if it is a EF-S? Thank you in advance:)

I guess he wants a big blows of urban architecture. It's great to have handy, because you can not always get a copy of building security in the vaccine. I had a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 Canon lens and a great, but unfortunately only for the sensor of culture. Shot around Toronto, Canada – Who is probably less dense urban areas in Hong Kong … I found the possibility of going to 11mm handy. My Tokina 11-16mm is lost (left somewhere When you make a hasty lens shift) and now my more widely available is my EF 24-105mm f/4L. From this experience I can tell, 17 is a bit narrow for tight spaces Shooting buildings. Prefer Sigma. Cover 17-40 full length portraits + frame (to show where it is) and groups of people, but it is a bit too big intimate portraits of close-ups people without opposite. You'll also want something more if you try to get the heat. I would say that 12-20mm and another lens. But if you're computer-savvy, I just visited the Hoover Dam with only my 24-105 and solve the problem of the lack of wide angle by Multi-Shot Panoramic stitching. This requires software Free tripod and "Hugin" http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ is a track quite well, but if the weight of travel and not wanting to make changes in the lens on the road is a concern, it is often 24-105 Canon lens users choose if they could have a purpose. It is a fitting EF, and if you can live do not get an entire building in a photo when you can not go as far as the street … then cover the entire range of other focal points needed to Urban Travel Photography – others will be much larger to achieve their full framer.
