Just got a Canon 450D digital camera, but what is the lens I have?

It comes with an EF-S 18-55mm f / 3,5-5,6 IS USM Lens kit not, but I saw this camera in a different package that comes with a 18-55mm lens. What is the difference?

The difference, as far as I know, it means that the USM Ultra Sonic Motor, in other words an engine almost silent. Your goal is an engine normal focus and you hear when you press the shutter half of the lens is striking focus – that's it – essentially the same goal.
