My experience with digital cameras began with the Canon G5 model. Until then they had used film cameras exclusively, if I wanted digital testing the waters and I liked the result. Unfortunately, this little camera from dust, and it was time to see what was available for a replacement and I was pleasantly surprised options.

The G-10 has released an update last year for 2009. The New 10MP Canon PowerShot G11 offers some changes may be welcome for some, but may leave others who prefer the G-10 has to offer. The Canon G-Series has been excellent performance in its class, the G11 is committed to continue this success.

An important difference is that the reduction 10.0 megapixel G11 14.7 MP MP. Although this seems contrary to what one might expect a new model, the reduction product megapixels a cleaner image with less noise, especially at high ISO. In simple terms, the more megapixels, the more you will see imperfections due to the lens and the sensor is not "take" with the number of megapixels. This notion of "hunt megapixel" is a common mistake, and the G11 is a good address.

The next thing you notice is the addition of variable angle, folding screen that has been in models Canon before. Many people that this characteristic of a large, allowing the LCD to adjust to preferences users shooting, which allows plans that can not otherwise be able to supervise properly. This is especially true when recording video. One of my favorites and I'm bored properties when using a camera without it.

The camera has a zoom 5x optical works very well. The optical zoom is much better than digital zoom cameras. The digital zoom makes the resulting images are far more pixelated, especially in large prints.

Another thing I like Canon G11 is the ability to use an external flash flash attached to the shoe. This will gives much more control when using the flash, like prevention "bright object with a hard shadow behind you" look. It also reduce red eye, although the G11 has this feature built-in camera too.

The G11 is an excellent performance in this compact digital camera segment. You can get professional results without having to switch to a digital SLR, which makes this an ideal choice for those who want a solid point and shoot that produces great pictures. If you can not see the need to pass the G-10, Canon 10MP PowerShot G11 is another great offer Canon cameras on G-Series.
