Canon does not disappoint me
I am an amateur photographer and have been shooting with point and shoot digital cameras as well as several 35mm SLR age (guns were in the two categories above). This is My first digital SLR and was not sure what to expect. The camera feels good (I have small hands, I saw some complaints on the direction of the camera, so I thought talking about if it makes a difference). It took great pictures directly from the box, but now I'm learning how to access all the options that can take pictures quite impressive. I was very happy to know that my SLR lenses ancient form of this device, so they have a wide range of options for shooting in macro and telephoto. (It's a good thing too, because that quality lenses are expensive.) Lens in the kit has been largely unimpressive, but it does very well with the macro (I also screwed on 10x magnifying glass on it), but I'm sure that for the beginner who work in many different situations and more than enough for use while Saving for a better lens.
The Action camera well managed. I have several small children who are always moving and I managed a few very interesting picture of them in motion. So when you do a portrait, bokeh on this camera is very beautiful.
It is very easy download images one of my computers (desktop or laptop). I have not played with their software too so I really can not comment on that yet. I am very pleased that included a program for RAW images, however.
I jumped on reading the full manual and instead to refer to Ben Long The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/450D Companion.
I also like the timer mode can take up to 10 photos instead of one, which is great for family photos … you have 10 chances to get one where everyone has their eyes open. lol
The battery life is long which accompanies life. Also lost a couple pieces of batteries, so I'm not in a position where I'm going to miss some photos very well, because the battery of my death. (This package also comes with a battery charger).
I recommend this camera, I love it.

what else could be expected. Turn it on, zoom and shoot. You can not go wrong. I just wanted a camera and do not worry about shooting Video. fantastic shooting speed, wow. Get. I looked at Nikon, but it was with Canon, as it was the best unit.

I am disappointed that the camera does not feature video clips of short duration.
I am also disappointed that you must use the viewfinder to take photos in automatic mode and not in the right screen size!
Otherwise, take beautiful photos and I am delighted to learn to use all the manual functions.

Our first digital SLR
I bought this camera for my wife who loves Plants take pictures of your garden and kitchen dishes up. She used to make a larger point and shoot camera of 3.2 MP. Like most your needs taken photographs were shooting macro close, the old camera was not cut and gave a lot of blurred images and washed.
It is a small, so I wanted to find a beginner level DSLR lightweight and compact. Research and review sites like what I read the Canon Rebel XSi. He met all the criteria and the price was very reasonable. I bought a macro lens for that.
We had the camera for about a year and we have taken thousands of pictures and they all look amazing. I never thought I could get used to carrying a DSLR digital, but now I can not go anywhere without him. The Images obtained with this camera does not simply compare with the images taken with a point and shoot camera. It is ideal for those who are interested in entering the SLR.
